city logo

Any City of Coweta resident (someone who lives within city limits) who had storm damage may bring green waste (limbs, branches, etc.) to the Coweta Wastewater Treatment Plant for free disposal. Hours for collection will be Tuesday 10/12 through Friday 10/15 from 8 am to 4 pm, and Saturday 10/16 from 8 am to noon. To drop off green waste, you must present a valid ID that identifies you as a resident of Coweta, similar to what is required to participate in "Trash Off" days annually in Coweta.

  • Construction debris or materials of any kind, including but not limited to fencing, drywall/sheetrock, or shingles
  • Any kind of metal or appliance or electronics

FINDING THE WASTEWATER PLANT: The wastewater treatment plant is located on 164th Street South, just off 305th E. Avenue. On 305th, you'll pass District 3 barn (it's marked), and then you'll turn right onto 164th Street South and drive to the end of the road. If the gate across the road is closed, there is no attendant there at the time. Wastewater Treatment Plant
