OKLAHOMA MUNICIPAL MANAGEMENT SERVICES (OMMS)
Presentation by Oklahoma Municipal Management Services (OMMS) about services offered to assist municipalities, and discussion regarding need for services from OMMS, including City Management assistance and the City Manager hiring process.

HIRING A CITY MANAGER
Discussion and appropriate action related to the process for hiring a City Manager.
3.
AUTHORIZATION FOR JULIE CASTEEN
Discussion and appropriate action related to the authorization for Julie Casteen, Assistant City Manager, to approve payment of usual and customary claims, purchase orders and disbursements in accordance with the ordinances, policies and procedures of the City.

(Pursuant to 25 O.S. Section 307 the City Council may enter into executive session for the purposes specifically provided in this section.)

PROPOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION
Discussion and appropriate action related to a proposed executive session for the purpose of discussing a pending claim concerning the severance which may be due to Roger Kolman, former City Manager, following his resignation on September 11, 2023, according to the terms of the employment agreement between the City of Coweta, The Coweta Public Works Authority, and the Coweta Industrial Development Authority, pursuant to 25 O.S. Section 307(B)(4), upon the advice of the City Attorney that disclosure will seriously impair the ability of the City Council to process the claim in the public interest.

PROPOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION #2
Discussion and appropriate action related to a proposed executive session for the purpose of interviewing candidates for the temporary position of Interim City Manager, including discussion of duties and compensation, pursuant to 25 O.S. Section 307(B)(1).

END EXECUTIVE SESSION
Vote to come out of executive session.

DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION
Discussion and appropriate action related to discussions held in executive session related to the following:
a. Severance which may be due to Roger Kolman, former City Manager, pursuant to the terms of the employment agreement between the City of Coweta, The Coweta Public Works Authority, and the Coweta Industrial Development Authority.
b. Possible appointment of an interim City Manager, as a temporary position, and establishing a salary.
