Approval of Minutes

Approval of the Minutes of the Coweta City Council Regular Meeting held on July 1, 2019.

Surplus Property Declaration

Approval on a declaration of surplus on the following and authorization for the City Manager to dispose of accordingly; Alcatel-Lucent IP Touch Telephone System.

1.

Recognition of Coweta Youths

Presentation of Citizenship Awards by Chief of Police Mike Bell to two Coweta youths who showed integrity and honesty in ensuring lost property was returned to its rightful owner.

2.

Agreement for Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Worker’s Compensation Coverage

Discussion and possible action to approve the 2019-2020 Oklahoma Municipal Assurance Group (OMAG) Renewal Participation Agreement for Worker’s Compensation coverage, with $87,031 of the premium paid from the OMAG escrow account.

Ballot for Election of OkMRF Trustee

Discussion and possible action on the adoption of Resolution No. 2019-27, a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Coweta, Oklahoma casting a vote for Trustee of the Oklahoma Municipal Retirement Fund (OkMRF) to fill the expiring term of At-Large Trustee representing the entire membership.

Appointment of Requisitioning and Receiving Personnel

Discussion and possible action on the appointment of Fire Chief Greg Edwards and Assistant City Manager Julie Casteen to serve as requisitioning officers, and Deputy Fire Chief Aaron Culwell and Fire Captain Brian Woodward to act as receiving officers for purchases utilizing the Wagoner County Sales Tax Account.

Purchase of Pickup for Cemetery

Discussion and possible action on the approval of the purchase of one (1) 2020 Ford half ton pickup truck for the Cemetery from Bill Knight Ford at a cost not to exceed Twenty Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) utilizing Oklahoma Statewide Purchasing Contract SW0035 and authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents related thereto.

Live Scan Purchase Contract

Discussion and possible action on the purchase of a Live-Scan finger printing machine to be installed at the Coweta Police Department at a cost not to exceed Seventeen Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy Eight dollars ($17,878.00.00) and direct the City Manager to sign all required documents.

Agreement for SRO Services

Discussion and possible action on the approval of a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Coweta and the Coweta Board of Education pertaining to the operations of a School Resource Officer Program within the Coweta Public School system.

Purchase of Police Unit

Discussion and possible action on the purchase of one (1) 2020 Ford Police Interceptor vehicle from Bill Knight Ford utilizing State of Oklahoma Purchasing Contract SW035 at a cost not to exceed Thirty Nine Thousand dollars ($39,000.00) and direct the City Manager to sign all required documents.
