REQUEST FOR AN EXECUTIVE SESSION FOR THE PURPOSES OF CONFIDENTIAL COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN THE CITY COUNCIL AND ITS ATTORNEY CONCERNING A PENDING INVESTIGATION, CLAIM, OR ACTION. THE CITY COUNCIL, UPON THE ADVICE OF ITS ATTORNEY, HAS DETERMINED THAT DISCLOSURE WILL SERIOUSLY IMPAIR THE ABILITY OF THE CITY OF COWETA  AS WELL AS CERTAIN OFFICIALS AND OFFICERS THEREOF TO PROCESS THE CLAIM OR CONDUCT A PENDING INVESTIGATION, LITIGATION, OR PROCEEDING IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST, AS IS AUTHORIZED BY 25 O.S. § 307.B.4. TO WIT: A CLAIM FILED BY HALL, ESTIL, ATTORNEYS AT LAW, ON BEHALF OF GNOMAN’S CREEK, PERTAINING TO THE CITY COUNCILS’ DENIAL OF SPECIAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION CZ-20-12 SUP, A REQUESTED SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (SUP), FOR A MEDICAL MARIJUANA BUSINESS/GROWING USE ON PROPERTY LOCATED EAST OF THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF STATE HIGHWAY 51 AND EAST 121ST STREET SOUTH, IN SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 18 NORTH, RANGE 15 EAST OF THE INDIAN BASE AND MERIDIAN, WAGONER COUNTY, STATE OF OKLAHOMA.
